Welcome to the first note I’m writing for the new GALBI blog. As the blog category states, my name is Dina Aluzri, and I am the founder of GALBI. This blog has been in the works for some time now, and I can’t believe it’s finally here. As small as a blog may be, in the grand scheme of things, when building a business, this is just another milestone in our journey. I thought a blog would be an incredible addition to our site because the brand’s voice is the most important part of who we are. We are more than just a fashion brand- we are a lifestyle that we hope inspires you. The blog is a fluid diary that will share everything and all GALBI- notes from me, gift guides (~~Holidays are coming~~), travel diaries, styling secrets, look books, and more! 

I am so excited to launch my inaugural note too. Here, I’ll give you insights in all things GALBI, what’s happening behind the scenes, founder life, running a small business, maybe some personal tidbits, and much more. It’s been a little over a year since I launched GALBI and I’d love to highlight our key accomplishments thus far that I am the most proud of.

1. We’ve launched two collections so far: our inaugural collection, the Amalfi Collection (where GALBI all started), and our newest collection, the Riviera Collection. Both collections were hand sourced and carefully curated by me from multiple different countries, regions, and locations.

2. My favorite accomplishment so far…we were featured in Glamour UK’s Glamour Shops!!! Being featured in a major media article like this is truly a dream come true especially for how young we are. This is only the beginning. Read the article here.

3. GALBI first started out as a team of one- Me. We are now a small and mighty team of three! Myself, Sara (our Social Media Manager), and Josefine (our Business Development & Marketing Intern). You’ll see us around a lot on social media and events, but also behind the scenes writing these blogs and keeping you all updated on all things GALBI. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done so far.

Running a business is tough, but it is truly the most rewarding thing in the world. There are a lot of highs…but then there are bumps- slow days, weeks, and months. Sometimes it can be disheartening, but I wholeheartedly believe that if you chase your dreams and put your mind to it, you can achieve anything. I hope this blog gives you hope, inspiration, and is a place for you to escape to. I can’t wait to take you all along this journey with me.
